IMPORTANT:

This background pack works best with a custom skin, for example FM12 Base Skins. (โหลสกินตัวเก่าครับ)

If you find the default transparency of the graphics for the Background Base Skins isn't to your liking you can adjust it by editing the graphics located in the \graphics\bgoverlay\ folder, you just need to alter the transparency of each graphic until you are happy.

If you find the overlay of your skin is too transparent/light, try some darker ones (Opacity set to 80% rather than 50%) you just need to download this file and extract the bgoverlay folder into the \<yourskin>\graphics folder so that it replaces the existing bgoverlay folder and overwrites the old graphics.

Extract to:

This little modifcation adds numbers behind the sliders, so you always know how many klicks you've made.

--- Installation ---

If you open the archive you see several things: 2 folders, 3 xml-files and a Readme.

The Readme is just saying the same things below, so if you link my file anywhere else any other person can understand what to do without the need of being registered here in SI forums (well, I recommend everybody to register to the SI Forums nevertheless).

a) Using this mod for FM2012 Default Skin

Extract (not empty! just leave all the files within the folders) the folders to:

*FM-UDF*\skins\

Start FM, go to Preferences, choose the skin "Numbered Tactical Sliders". Changes will be applied immediately.

Or choose "Numbered Tactical Sliders (Dark)" for applying to the Dark Default skin.

b) Using it within another skin/modification or personalised skin

Extract the 3 xml files to:

*FM-UDF*\skins\*yourskinname*\panels

(if your skin has no panels-folder, create one!)

Start FM and go to the Preferences screen before unticking 'use skin cache', ticking 'reload skin on confirm' and then click in the left corner at 'Reload Skin'. After the skin has reloaded please put the ticked boxes to the default setting.

UDF stands for User Data Folder

About the next release...

For the next release, I'll be 'introducing' the two commentators idea I mentioned a couple of releases ago. There will be other fresh lines as usual of course but this will give you an idea of what I had in mind regarding the commentators thing. Please do let me know your thoughts on it won't you?

Update to the two commentators idea

Before I get too far in with this idea, I thought I might offer a taste of how it will look in game. To that end, I've adjusted the normal START MATCH lines to have Clive Tyldesley and John Motson commentating. Note that this applies only to the normal START MATCH lines so if you're coming up to a promotion or relegation scrap in your next match, you won't see any difference.

Also, I've gone over the lines I did in the current release (3rd May) and adjusted some of those - not all as I don't want this idea to be an overkill. Anyhow, if you'd like to have a look at this 'taster', you can get it here:-

If like me you feel that the in game 3d is to bright at times , then this is just the right changes for you .

in order to change the in match brightness .

I made changes to the files in the sky folder of the game .

it is the brightness of the sky .which effect the brightness on the pitch

most changes are made to day games , eveing games have not been touched .

changes are 30% darker on games that ortherwise would be brighter

theses games below would be other wise quite bright .

make a back up of your sky folder .

then Extract file and overwrite to :

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2012\data\sigfx\sky

With over 50,000 downloads last year the FM11 Adboard Patch was one off the most popular graphical patches FM11 and it's now back for FM12

What does the patch typically contain?

Last year this was the only patch to have adboards for ever licensed Premier League along with several cup competitons and club specific adoards.

What will the FM12 patch contain?

The first patch will contain all the previous leagues (76), 26 cup competitions, 15 continental cup competitions and club specific adboards for 87 clubs

Will the FM11 patch contain any new adboards?

Yes the first patch will contain updated adboards for the Chinese, Dutch, Isreal, Portuguese, Russian and Scottish leagues along with adboards 7 new clubs and updated adboards for Isreali, Scottish and European cup competitions.
